I build AI that has to meet engineering reality: physical models, sensor data, constrained devices, simulation tools, and the workflows engineers actually use. The work spans the full modeling spectrum — from high-fidelity numerical simulation and reduced-order physical models to production machine learning.
Some of it is public: peer-reviewed work on simulation and modeling, US patents, and open-source projects in simulation and optimization.
I've worked across academia and industry — years of university research before moving into industry R&D and engineering leadership. That path — from CFD and building-physics research through embedded audio AI to multimodal text-and-vision and agentic workflows — is on the work page.
Areas of focus
- AI tooling for engineering workflows — applied AI, LLMs and agents, and automation around model validation and engineering work.
- Applied ML from research to product — taking machine learning from research into industrial and consumer products.
- Modeling and simulation of technical systems — across the full spectrum: physics-based models (e.g. CFD, FEM), reduced-order models, and data-driven machine learning.
Right now I'm at PassiveLogic, working at the intersection of AI, simulation, and sensor-data monitoring and analysis.
